Everyone has a favorite rub (get those dirty thoughts out of your head… we’re talking food here). This is a rub I make in batches that works well on chicken, pork and BBQ (for BBQ, I’ll add brown or maple sugar to the mix). I don’t bother adding salt, as I always salt and pepper everything on its own. Enjoy!
The Epicurean Rub
The Goods
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons ground coriander
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika (or sub with chili powder)
- 1-2 tablespoons garlic powder (how much is up to your garlic tolerance)
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon zatar
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
